Natural, cinematic photography grounded in real life
Lavender - Behind the scenes
A behind-the-scenes photographic series created during the production of Daley’s latest music video for his single, Lavender. The project documents key moments from the shoot, capturing both the crafted visual environment and the collaborative process behind its creation.
The series also produced the official cover artwork used for Daley’s Strange Nature vinyl release
Daley - Albert Hall
An afternoon and evening spent documenting Daley in the hours before a live performance. Across six hours, the work moved from dress rehearsal to quiet backstage moments, preparation, waiting, and finally the energy of the stage.
The aim was to capture the full rhythm of the day - not just the performance itself, but the atmosphere around it: the focus, the movement, the stillness, and the spaces in between.
Skin And Milk
This series follows my partner through early motherhood - the quiet moments, the tired ones, the ones full of warmth. It is about her with our daughter, and about her as herself. Her body, which grew and fed and held, and which I have always found beautiful.
There is nothing complicated about what these images are. They are about a woman I love, seen honestly - as a mother and as someone I am still completely drawn to. Both things at once, because that is the truth of it.
Black and white only. Shot at home. This is how I saw her.

About
Me
Hey, I’m Kristian - a Manchester based Photographer
Photography started as a way of documenting the people around me, and over the last few years I’ve built a body of work centred on family life, live music and documentary photography.
More recently, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph musician Daley, covering both his live performance at the Albert Hall in Manchester and the behind the scenes production of one of his music videos. Those experiences confirmed that working alongside creative teams is the direction I want to take my photography.
I’m now looking to build on that by working with filmmakers, musicians and production teams, creating behind the scenes imagery that documents the process as it happens. My goal is to move into unit photography for film while continuing to work on music productions and other creative projects.
If you’re looking for someone who can quietly document your production without getting in the way, I’d love to hear about your project.
